There is a stock picks contest among Canadian bloggers. The criteria is to pick four stocks (American and/or Canadian) in equal dollar amounts to sit for the duration of 2010 with no changes allowed.
As a Canadian blogger, we have revealed our stock picks in this posting. We also setup a live page on Google Docs so that you can monitor the performance of each contestant. The initial price was based on the closing price of December 31, 2009.

Another thing, this will be updated automatically by Google Docs since it’s linked to Google Finance. The only exception is, unfortunately, i.e. HIG.TO. For some reasons, Google Finance doesn’t have this ticker symbol in their database yet; so have to update it manually every now and then. Other than that, it’s updated regularly and most US stocks even have real-time prices.
